Terms of Service
These terms apply to photography, video and related media services provided by JacksonHouse Media. Please review them alongside your selected package, quote and booking confirmation.
Your confirmed order or written proposal sets out the services, pricing, deliverables and any project-specific conditions. Agreed project-specific conditions take precedence where they expressly differ from these general terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Booking and Scheduling
Appointments are subject to availability and are considered confirmed when you receive confirmation from JacksonHouse Media.
Please provide the property or project address, access instructions, requested services, important deadlines and any special requirements when booking. Specific shot requests, restricted areas and branding requirements should be communicated before the appointment.
Changes to the original scope may affect pricing, scheduling and delivery.
Pricing, Travel and Additional Services
Pricing depends on the selected services, property or project size, location and scope of work.
Travel fees may apply at our current rate, as disclosed in your quote or booking details before confirmation. Applicable taxes, additional visits, advanced editing and optional services will also be identified where relevant.
Work outside the confirmed scope will be discussed and approved before additional charges are incurred.
Deposits and Payment
A deposit or advance payment may be required. The amount, payment schedule and any applicable refund or cancellation conditions will be provided before your booking is confirmed.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, outstanding balances must be paid before final media files are released for download or use.
Available payment methods are shown through our invoicing or booking system.
Cancellations, Rescheduling and Property Access
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an appointment.
Cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival or unavailable-access charges may apply under the policy provided with your booking. Any applicable charges and the treatment of deposits will be disclosed before confirmation.
If our team has already travelled to the property, an applicable travel charge may also apply where disclosed in the booking conditions.
Delays in access or preparation may reduce the time available for the shoot. Additional work or a return visit may require a separate booking and charge.
Property Preparation and Safety
The client is responsible for arranging authorized access and ensuring the property or project is ready at the scheduled time.
Properties are captured in their condition on arrival. Standard services do not include cleaning, decluttering, making beds or moving furniture.
Please advise us about occupants, pets, access restrictions, construction hazards and any other conditions that may affect the appointment. We may pause or reschedule work if conditions are unsafe.
If no authorized representative is present, our team will follow the agreed brief and use professional judgment when capturing the property.
Weather and Aerial Services
Exterior photography and drone services depend on suitable weather, safe operating conditions and any required permissions or authorizations.
When conditions prevent safe or suitable capture, affected services may be adjusted or rescheduled. Unaffected services may proceed as planned.
Return visits are subject to availability. We will discuss the arrangements and any applicable charges before confirming a return appointment.
Delivery and Revisions
Delivery times vary by service and project. Your selected package, quote or booking confirmation will identify the expected turnaround.
Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Please communicate firm deadlines before booking. Rush delivery is subject to availability and may involve an additional charge.
Included editing and revisions depend on the selected service. Additional editing, changes in creative direction or new deliverables may require a separate quote.
If you believe a delivered file has a problem or something in the agreed scope was missed, please contact us so we can review it.
Copyright and Media Usage
JacksonHouse Media retains copyright in the original media it creates and owns unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment provides the commissioning client with permission to use the finished media for the purposes and channels included in the selected package or written agreement. It does not automatically transfer copyright or include raw files or editable project files.
Usage permissions may differ between real estate listing media, commercial projects, builder and designer portfolios, and ongoing content services.
Use by another business, publication, property owner or other third party requires appropriate permission. Please contact us before sharing media for uses outside your agreed licence.
Material alterations or re-editing require approval unless expressly permitted in your agreement. Third-party music, stock material and platform features may carry separate restrictions.
Downloads, Storage and Hosted Media
Clients are responsible for downloading and safely backing up their finished media.
File storage, portal access, property websites and hosted tours are available for the period included in the selected package or agreement. File backup and ongoing hosting are separate services.
Extensions, archive retrieval and re-upload requests are subject to availability and may involve additional charges confirmed in advance.
Virtual Staging and AI Visualizations
Virtual staging and AI-enhanced media illustrate possible furnishings, designs or future conditions. They are not a guarantee of the finished result, development approval or construction feasibility.
Clients should review the finished media before publishing and ensure that digitally altered or conceptual images are identified appropriately for their intended use.
Floor Plans, Measurements and Virtual Tours
Floor plans, measurements and virtual tours provide information within the scope of the purchased service and its stated limitations.
They do not replace legal surveys, construction drawings, permits or professional assessments. Critical dimensions and requirements should be independently verified before construction or other decisions requiring precise measurements.
Content Plans and Ongoing Services
Content plans and recurring projects follow the deliverables, commitment period, payment schedule and cancellation arrangements set out in their written agreement.
Scheduling, posting, reporting, revisions and advertising management are included only where specified in the selected plan. Advertising spend is separate unless otherwise agreed.
Clients are responsible for providing the approvals, brand materials and authorized access required to complete the agreed services.
Client Permissions and Results
Clients must have authority to arrange the shoot and permission to supply any logos, photographs, plans, music or other materials used in the work.
Please communicate confidentiality requirements and restrictions on photographing people or sensitive areas before the appointment.
JacksonHouse Media provides professional media services but does not guarantee a property sale, social reach, leads or other specific business results.
